No life without water: The liquid element allows nature to flourish and is the most important elixir of life for humans. Water is a source of health, but also of inspiration, joy, purity and relaxation. For Bad Schinznach and its guests, the liquid element in the form of our sulphur spring has been a special source of salvation for centuries. Our thermal sulphur spring has been bubbling up since 1651 and over the centuries it has alleviated the suffering of countless people. A treasure that must be guarded and preserved for future generations.
We have always been aware of this great responsibility. Sustainable management for the benefit of people and the environment is therefore an important part of our corporate philosophy. For us, it means more than just fine words. We live the values and goals that are clearly defined in our mission statement. In a multi-stage interactive process, we have jointly developed this mission statement for Bad Schinznach AG. It contains our management principles and values and summarizes how we see and present ourselves. These values are brought to life in our daily work and form the basis of our company’s identity. Through the constructive and creative collaboration of employees from all areas of the company, we have created an internal guideline that shows us at all times what we stand for and what is important to us. Wondrous places in Switzerland
The Federal Inventory of Swiss Sites of National Importance (ISOS) lists and documents the most valuable, nationally significant settlements in Switzerland. Switzerland Tourism and the Federal Office of Culture (FOC) launched the “In love with beautiful places” project in 2020 to make these places better known to local and foreign travelers. So far, 50 places have been selected. In addition to the existing 50 locations, 30 more have now been selected. These places will now be presented in the “Wonderful places in Switzerland” campaign and integrated into Switzerland Tourism’s marketing and communication measures. Bad Schinznach is one of the 30 selected locations.
